Wall Undulations

Created using data on the rate of deforestation over the past 50 years as the key inputs for an algorithm. The algorithm builds form based on the values inputted, hence the form becomes ever more chaotic over the expanse of surface as the number of acres of forest lost increases. Here it can be seen applied to a reception desk, peeling away from the wall to create both a sculptural wall piece and the base for the desk’s surface.

Also seen as an unusual architectural shelter or wall piece.
